Biography of Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel is an American actor, known for his role as Dominic Toretto in the Fast and Furious film series. He has starred in a number of other films, including xXx and A Man Apart.

Diesel’s career began when he appeared in the children’s play Dinosaur Door in the Theater of New York City at the age of seven. He and his friends broke into the theater to vandalize it but were offered roles in the upcoming show by its artistic director, Crystal Field.

Vin Diesel was born Mark Sinclair on 18 July 1967 in Alameda County, California. His mother, Delora Sherlin Vincent, brought up him and his twin brother Paul all alone since they didn’t know their father.

The actor first got interested in acting at a young age. He debuted in a play called Dinosaur Door when he was seven. He later studied at New York City’s Hunter College.

The son of astrologer/psychologist Delora and theater director Irving Vincent, Vin was raised in an artist’s housing project in Greenwich Village. He has a fraternal twin brother, Paul, and two sisters.

After dropping out of Hunter College, Diesel moved to Hollywood. A year in Hollywood left him feeling frustrated and unfulfilled, but a gift from his mother – Rick Schmidt’s book “Feature Filmmaking at Used Car Prices” helped him refocus on acting.

Vin Diesel attended Hunter College in New York, but dropped out after three years. He went on to become a successful actor, making movies like Fast and Furious and the XXX series.
